ACTUALLY getting started on kabbalah and how it can be applied to the slenderman
kabbalah is the study of the essence of God and how God shows himself to the world. I believe that the same can be done to the Slender Man, in kabbalah theres is a concept known as the ''Tree of Death'' and I believe that the Slender man is the embodiment of said tree. While the Tree of Life embodies the emanations of God and God stands at the top of it, i believe that the Slender man is the exact opposite.
God is existence and the Slender Man is non-existence, in kabbalah there is a concept known as the ein sof which roughly translates to ''infinite'', ''unlimited'' or ''no end''. And i think that the Slender Man is just ''sof'' which would translate to ''nothingness'' or ''end'', this would exaplain why we are so naturally scared of Him, as beings made of God's light we would inherently be scared of something that is the exact opposite of that.
returning to the Tree of Death, while the Tree of Life is a road to whats basically enlightenment, I think that the Tree of Death is a road that leads to becoming one of His ''agents'', akin to what happened to Kevin Haas.
I believe that the Slender Man is Thaumiel, akin to God being Kether, and each sephirah might be one of His agents, or at least, the ones that ascended (or descended, depending on interpretations) to his plane of existence. Either that, or the Tree of Death is like a hierarchy of some kind for His agents, smilarly as to how angels are ordered based on the Tree of Life.
Being a being of pure nothingness, the Slender Man appears as a suited hole in reality, like the Observer said in the Q&A:
Q-''what are slenderman's tentacles''
A-''cracks in spacetime''
what the Observer couldve meant is that He Himself is a hole in reality that we try to fill by picturing a suited, faceless being.
Next post will be about the cosmology
